I get so interested in the concept of dreaming and just exactly why you dream exactly what you dream. For me, I hardly ever dream. No wait, they say you dream every single night. So what I mean is I hardly ever remember my dreams. And when I do, it's always realistic. I've never had a dream of myself in a cartoon, or in black and white, or even seeing myself as if I'm watching my dream. I've heard of people having those. Or even sleep paralysis (is that dreaming?), is something I've never experienced. I have a couple friends who've experienced sleep paralysis and to me, it just seems like the scariest feeling. I've heard of people flying, teeth falling out, and other recurring dreams. I've never even had a recurring dream! haha am I even normal? So anyway, last night I dreamt something that I have never dreamt before...
I dreamt that I DIED!!!!!
Not only had I never dreamt my own death, this dream I actually saw myself. At least it wasn't a gruesome death, I think my heart just stopped while I was on a bed or something. Anyway, point is, I dreamt of my life ending. I was worried. I tend to think that if you dream something bad, it must mean something bad, and if I dream good, then it's something good. So immediately I looked up dream interpretation.
Die
To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.
"Positive symbol" it says, =D. And now everything makes sense!
See, since the weekend, I've felt so stress free. Just a couple days ago I came back from Orlando for an interview with Ross University. I think we conversed so much that I can only recall the interviewer asking 3 questions. He ended with "I doubt you'll be rejected" and that was all I needed to hear. From the second he said that, I was as happy as can be. It's likely that I'll be MERP'd, and it's possible for straight admission, but whatever the outcome, I'M HAPPY! I'm glad he said it too, otherwise I'd be so antsy all break waiting for the decision call. Instead, I'm just relaxing and having fun, yay =)
And I've been thinking a lot too, that in about 3-4 months, my life will totally change. I could be somewhere totally different. I won't be seeing the same people any more. I'll be studying like I've never studied before. I'll actually be working towards my future career. Just thinking so much about my life changing soon probably gave me my dream of my death. Scary dream, but it's a good thing.

Pappadeaux!
Went to Pappadeax last night. Ate some lobster, shrimp, crawfish, tilapia, and of course my ever so favorite... OYSTERS!!! Last time I ate there was my birthday back in March and I've been dying to go back. Philip took me (aw ain't he so sweet =D). It sure was good shtuff!!
Anyway, look what I found!! I got braces back in freshmen year of high school. Dr. Hunter always puts up a before and after picture. I dunno what happened to my after picture (darn!), but my momma definitely kept the before pic!

Welp, headin' down to Orlando tomorrow. Laters!

I love Christmas!
Cu and I put up some wreaths and wrapped the staircase with some... umm, I don't know what they're called, a string green wreath-feeling things? And it's rainy out so I didn't feel like going in front of my house to take a picture of the reindeers. Maybe tomorrow!
I love Gap holiday commercials. I never get tired of them. I love this year's! Especially the one with the little girls. "How cute are these boots? How cute are these boots?!"

My Momma's Funny
I came downstairs today and saw 2 sandwiches left that my mom made earlier this morning for breakfast for me, my dad, and Cu. My mom wrote a sign saying "Please take one" and drew our faces. I took one and started eating.
Then Cu comes downstairs and asks "where'd you get that sandwich?" and I told him there's one for him too, in the kitchen. He walks into the kitchen and the first thing I hear is "WHAT!" ... I thought he was surprised that my mom took the time to draw pictures of us, but instead his "WHAT" was referring to his picture...
My mom drew his face filled with pimples! hahahaha it was hilarious. My mom's been getting on his back about acne and I guess this picture means that she really means it!
Anyway, I still happily enjoyed my sandwich. At least my picture was pretty. She drew in eye lashes =)

(Can't really see it, it was drawn kinda light)
Last night I played tennis for the longest time out in the brrrrCOLD. It was fun! Before last night I haven't really played in a while. I think I missed the two last ALTA seasons. We're preparing for next season now. The Winter Mixed Doubles will be starting beginning of January and I'm excited. I've been playing for YEARS and I just never seem to get any better haha. Hopefully this year our team can bring home a plate!
Lastly, here's a picture of my dad and Ralphie. We always take such close-up pictures where you can't really see how tiny he is. I took a faraway picture. I wish it was on Thanksgiving so I could've compared him to a turkey.
Ralph & his Grandpa

This year I put two reindeer lights in front of our house. Things have been busy in the family. The reindeers weren't out yet (usually we'd have them up by Thanksgiving) and since I was the only one home, I decided to just haul the big boxes out and set them up myself. I made myself some hot mocha coffee and sipped it while I set out the deers in the cold. No complaining though, I was happy. Now that's the holiday spirit! (I'll wait til tonight to take a picture with the lights on!)
Bout to make some rum cake for my sister to bring to her company Christmas potluck party. My brother wanted to be the one to buy rum at the liquor store because he just turned 21 a month ago. That reminded me of the day I got my driver's license and I was always willing to run ANY errand for my mom just so I could drive :D

Time the Celebrate the Holidays!
I took my last final at GSU today. Last final ever? I'm really hoping so. All I want for Christmas is some good news =)
It's been a while since I've updated and I can't believe 2009 is almost over. Thanksgiving this year was really great. Next year we'll have 4 kids in the 3rd generation. Before we know it, a bulk of the girl cousins are gonna be popping out babies. I can't wait to see the future of the 3rd generation in the Nguyen Family Tree. I'm just itching for someone to get married!
Now I gotta worry about Christmas presents, shopping for Secret Santa, and just getting into the holiday spirit. I like to do things last minute. It's the last minute rush with Christmas carols in the background that bring in the holiday spirit. 'Tis the season to be giving...
Before that, I have a script I need to memorize! I'm gonna be in a commercial! We're shooting tomorrow with the CW network and I waited til the day before to memorize the script. It's only 30 seconds long. What commercial is it? hahahha I'll wait til we actually shoot before I get into further details with that. Nevertheless, this commercial shoot is a cool experience!
And last but not least.... I got my mind on Ross and Ross on my mind =)
praying.
